The 5’9”, 190 lbs Kennedy will no doubt help to solidify a young Griffins’ defense. In her four-year college career she tallied 143 (53-90) points in 130 games. With the US Olympic team’s Tour to Salt Lake she compiled 19 (2-27) points in 29 games. As an Olympian in Salt Lake City Courtney added 2 assists to her record as well as earning an Olympic Silver Medal. She is the third US Olympian to join the Griffins’ squad in the most premier post college league for women’s ice hockey.
