GRIFFINS WIN THEIR FIRST REGULAR SEASON GAME
New Westminster - The NWHL Vancouver Griffins defeated the Global
Rockets eight to one in their first South Coast Female Amateur Hockey
League (SCFAHL) game of the 2000-2001 season. Julia Berg led the Griffins
scoring with a hat trick and two assists. Elaine Topolnisky of Logan
Lake and Caroline Hall of Victoria scored two goals each for the Griffins.
The Rockets only goal was scored in the first by Leanne Pettie.
